Verify a valid CDS value is entered in the validated field. Refer to California School Directory (http://www.cde.ca.gov/re/sd/) or Charter Schools Directory (https://www.cde.ca.gov/ds/si/cs/).

For non-charter schools: To determine the DSEA, refer to the definition of DSEA: https://documentation.calpads.org/Glossary/CASEMIS/DSEA/
For charter schools: If the charter school is an individual member of a SELPA, then the DSEA must always be the charter school. If the charter school is not an individual member of a SELPA, then the DSEA is always the charter authorizer.
