Suggested Resolution

Understanding the Error: The system is validating that the submitted SWDS record has a Special Education Status Code and Non-Participation Reason Code for a student does exist in the same file or is same as the immediate previous or immediate next SWDS record for a student based on the Special Education Status Effective Start Date. This validation applies to only statuses not equal to 4 - Not Eligible.

Suggested Resolution: Verify that the Special Education Status Effective Date, Special Education Status Code and Non-Participation Reason Code are correct.
