Error Description

If student has a Secondary Enrollment Status Code (20), Student Exit Reason must be null or = E170 (Secondary Enrollment Exit)

Suggested Resolution

Understanding Error:

The SENR record submitted contains an invalid combination of Enrollment Status Code and Student Exit Reason Code. Students cannot be exited with a Student Exit Reason Code of E170 - Secondary Enrollment Exit if they are not enrolled in a school with an Enrollment Status Code of 20 (Secondary Enrollment).


Suggested Resolution:

1) Consider changing the student's enrollment status code to primary (Enrollment Status Code 10) if the student is not primarily enrolled in anther school. OR

2) Consider changing the student's exit category to a Secondary Enrollment Exit code (E170).

 

KNOWN BUG #5206 - SENR0302 error is triggered when the enrollment status field is 50 (non ADA) and exit code is E170
